Körber Pharma Packaging Materials LLC is a global leader in high-quality folding cartons and literature for the pharmaceutical industry. We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanic to join our team on second shift (3 PM–11 PM).
Your role in our team
You will complete all assigned work in accordance with work order and job plan set forth by Production Manager.
You will construct and communicate shift reports with Production Manager
You will ensure completion of assigned work orders, observations and inspections
You will produce support, answering calls for maintenance support and repair of equipment and building
You will conduct and participate in root cause analyses to eliminate sources of failure in equipment
You will perform inventory of critical parts and supplies for maintenance operations
You will ensure overall safety, housekeeping and shop cleanliness are met
You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
You will use diagnostic techniques and test equipment to identify and fix problems with electromechanical systems and circuits.
You will assemble, install, and wire electrical components, subassemblies, and machinery according to schematics and blueprints. This includes mounting electrical armoires and cabling on machines.
You will test equipment and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications and calibrate them as needed. Run initial tests on machinery to ensure it's operating smoothly.
You will keep detailed records of maintenance activities, test results, and repairs performed.
You will follow all safety procedures when working with machinery and hazardous materials.
Requirements
Your profile
You have worked on Heidelberg presses, Bobst Die Cutters and Bobst folder/gluers. (Preferred Experience)
You have proven experience in maintenance of highspeed manufacturing equipment
You have proven experience in Facilities maintenance and electrical systems
You have experience using hand and electrical tools
You have ability to read technical manuals, drawings and schematics
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
You have physical stamina and dexterity
You have knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures
You hold a High school diploma or equivalent
You are capable of lifting up to 50lbs
